For those who are familiar with our Christmas Scavenger Hunt, this will be a walk in the park. For all our newer players, we are offering a unique and exciting event to play during the entire month, all while winning extra cash simply by enjoying your usual favorite games.

The poker plane is coming to the rescue, dropping off supplies to any down-on-their-luck players. Picking up a box of rewards is as easy as jumping on board at CarbonPoker and playing a variety of real money poker games, including ring games, single and multi-table tournaments!

In your Player Admin, you will find a list of prizes to be won, along with the requirements for each. As you complete each task, it will be permanently marked to ensure the requirements have been met. With such a wide range of tasks to complete, you will be able to diversify your play, earning Comp Points in cash games and even playing to win thousands in the $20,000 Sunday Guaranteed tournament.

To claim prizes, you must also have completed tasks on a lower tier. For example, if you complete task 6 and it is marked off in Player Admin, to receive that prize you must also complete tasks 1 through 5. You will win all prixes that are won for all consecutive tasks.

All your progress throughout the month and reminders of prizes and tasks can be found within your Player Admin, your source for success during MayDay!

Terms & Conditions:

As a member of CarbonPoker, herein "the Promotion", you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

1. The MayDay promo will run from May 1 – 31 (inclusive). At midnight (server time) on May 31 the checklist will cease recording completed tasks and any outstanding prizes will be tallied. Please allow up to 72 hours for your finalized task list in the Player Admin.
2. All players must adhere to standard rules and practices of an individual poker game. This includes but is not limited to colluding with other players to gain an advantage otherwise unattainable by single players, and completing tasks with the assistance of others including Comp Point earnings. Any player found to be abusing such practices will be ineligible for promotional prizes and may have their account closed.
3. In order to be eligible to receive your obtained prizes, a player must have made a minimum of 1 deposit from the time they joined until May 31, 2008.
4. All cash prizes will be paid via Freeroll Winnings coupons, which restricts the bonus cash from being withdrawn for 1 week. Bonus cash can be played at the tables immediately.
5. Please allow up to 60 minutes for certain Scavenger Hunt tasks to be checked off your list.
6. Players can win all 10 prizes, but must complete all 10 of the task requirements. Each prize will be paid as the previous tasks are complete - example: If Task 1 and 3 have been completed, then only the prize for Task 1 will be paid. Once Task 2 has been completed, then you will be paid for Task 2 and 3.
7. Prizes are cumulative - example: completing Tasks 1, 2 and 3 will result in a total of $50 being added to your account.
8. Caribbean Stud Task: Player must hit a 3-of-a-kind and win the hand when the dealer has qualified.
9. Task 2 requires you to win a 10 seated Sit'n'Go with a minimum buy-in & fee of $5.50.
10. Task 4 requires you to successfully win a hand a pot on a Bad Beat Jackpot table at showdown. The hand must have a minimum of 4 players active pre-flop for the task to be completed.
11. Any comp points earned from side games between May 1 and 31 (00:00 Server Time) will not count towards Mayday tasks and comp point requirements.
12. All players must meet CarbonPoker's Terms & Conditions, and CarbonPoker reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, and for any reason, at its sole discretion.
13. A Breach of the Terms will result in instant removal from the Program.

Bounty Grand Master

Poker is a game with worldwide recognition and a massive field of elite players. At PokerCS.com we are now introducing a brand new ranking system, which gives players a credible reference on their overall skills. This is a long-term promotion which is available to every player and is fully automated for everyone to enjoy.

The ELO System

The ELO rating system is a method of ranking players by assigning a base numerical score, and victories and losses in Bounty tournaments will adjust the score accordingly. This is a world-class official system used most frequently in Chess, and it is has also been adapted for other sports.

Our Bounty tournaments are great ways to track wins and losses of each player (either knocking out another player or being eliminated yourself). Using the ELO system, all Bounty players can track their success and score via Player Admin.

ELO rewards strong play against tough opponents, and penalizes bad play against weak opponents. Here is a typical example:

A player in a tournament with a below-average ELO score may eliminate a player with a high ELO score. Because the high-ranking player is effectively judged as a stronger competitor, the low-ranking player is awarded more points, because they defeated a player far above their determined skill level. Alternatively, If the high-ranking player eliminates a weak player, they will still earn points, but not nearly as many because the ELO system has ranked them as an easy opponent based on their playing history.

For this reason, the ELO system can be used effectively by any player regardless of their time commitment to the game. It rewards quality of play (defeating tough opponents, avoiding eliminations) above quantity of tournaments and number of bounties claimed. While tournament place isn't a factor in calculating ELO scores, the top players will generally progress to the later stages of the tournament, and therefore this is where all the top points are found! To rate highly in PokerCS.com's ELO system, you need to perform well with both eliminations and tournament placings.

The ELO system will be implemented in all Bounty tournaments and Sit n' Goes, and every player is automatically registered for an ELO score. Play as many or as little Bounty games as desired, and your Player Admin will track all your progress throughout each month.

ELO points start at 1500 each month, and the highest ranking players at the end of the month will receive leaderboard prizes! We will reset the counters as the month rolls over, so there's always more chances to get started with your A game.

Terms & Conditions:

As part of the PokerCS GrandMaster Elo Bounty Promotion, herein "the Promotion", you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

• All weekly and monthly winners will be paid the appropriate leaderboard prize by 01:00 (server time), on the following day.
• Leaderboard results will be based on the total Elo rating achieved during the leaderboard promotional period. In the event of a leaderboard tie, prizes will be distributed equally among the tied players. For example: 2 players tied for 1st place. So, both players would win: 1st place prize + 2nd place prize / no. of tied players
• Each player will commence the month with an Elo ranking of 1500 points.
• The GrandMaster promotion will commence on the 21st day (00:00 Server Time) of each month and conclude the following month on the 21st day (00:00 Server Time). Example: From April 21 (00:00 server time) until May 21 (00:00 server time).
• Player Elo ratings will be calculated using a K-factor of 32, however, special bounty tournaments with higher K-factors will be scheduled throughout the promotion.
• Where the ELO rating difference between 2 players exceeds 150, 150 will be used.
• For every 3 consecutive days that a bounty event is not played, players will have their Elo rating decayed by 15 points.
• Any form of cheating or collusion will not be tolerated. Please stay within the spirit of this promotion and do not play a friend over and over again. If you engage in conduct against the spirit of the promotion you will become ineligible for the prize and may have your account closed.
• All GrandMaster leaderboard prizes will be paid directly to your player account within two business days and can be used immediately. All cash prizes cannot be withdrawn until 7 days after being issued.
• All players must meet PokerCS's Terms & Conditions, and PokerCS reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, and for any reason, at its sole discretion.
• Breach of the Terms will result in instant removal from the Program.
